    IH Motorhomes

Hi, We are thinking of down sizing to an IH600 panel van conversion, does anyone have any experience regarding this company and their after sales support etc...? I seem to remember a couple of years previous they made coachbuilt motorhomes but appear to have moved their market to focus on van...

Autotrail Reversing Camera does't always work

Hi Malcolm, My earlier response appears to have gone AWOL, I'll try again, not sure if this is the same fault as yours but we also had problems with our hab door locking/unlocking when using the key fob, the contacts on the lower door and frame had slightly rusted, using some 'wet&dry' over both...

    Water filler cap

We had the exact same problem, our dealer told us to just put the cap in boiling water and leave for a few minutes, has worked fine ever since!! Not sure what goes on here but a simple fix to an annoying problem

Annual Habitation check for a 3yr Motorhome

Hi Tony, It was a glider I used at the London glider club based out at Dunstable, Tina got me a lesson as a b'day pressie a few years back, thoroughly recommend it, but as an ex Matelot think I'll stick to the sea & motorhoming in retirement!!

    Hire. Try before you buy.

Hi, We wanted to do exactly the same ourselves before we bought our first motorhome and had two dogs onboard. We opted for a company called Motorholme, they put you in touch wit owners of motorhomes who want to hire them out to make some revenue when they are not using the vehicle themselves...

    newbie needing bodywork repair advice

Just a word of warning, bodyshops tend to finish a repair job with matching 'paint', as you would expect with a car panel, most motorhome panels are GRP/Fibreglass, in my view the best repair is to use the manufacturers 'gelcoat' which can be applied by a GRP specialist and is a lot lot thicker...

    newbie needing bodywork repair advice

Hi, We also had minor reversing damage which crunched the fibreglass on the rear lower panel, I wrote an article in the January edition of the magazine "finding a fix for our fibreglass" which provided details of a mobile GRP specialist who did a great repair job whilst the van was parked on our...

We like to think we are sensible regarding to where we park-up and...
