    Satelite Receiver

We've used the Humax HD receiver for a couple of years now in UK and France without any problems, what I have found however is an alternative method of finding the Freesat satellite at the different locations that is faster and easier than explained in the receiver handbook. What we did was tune...

    Moffat campsite

This a stupid rule of the Camping and Caravanning Club based on purely financial logic. The Caravan Club doesn't have this rule and will accept one night stays anytime. I am a member of the C&CC and have argued with them to no avail that I joined the club to use their sites and any rule...

    13 pin prewired plug

Sir Sprocket, Really don't see an adapter being lost or broken, the adapter is a bayonet fit onto the socket (same as 13 pin plug) and has a spring cover just like the 7 pin socket so once fitted will be kept plugged in and not removed when not used.

    13 pin prewired plug

We are taking delivery of a new car next month with fitted tow bar and 13 pin socket. The caravan has two 7 pin plugs, however as we never use the 12S plug (grey) we will be using a 13 pin to 7 pin adapter for the 12N plug ,they only cost £4/£5 from most and take only seconds to fit.

    Sat Nav in France

Personnally I wouldn't worry about this,it won't be easy to police this, unless you are caught speeding.Best thing is to stick to the speed limits. I won't be modifying my sat nav.
