    like clean toilets and showers but don't like paying extra for a shower like space but not so that children can play golf practice outside your van (as happened this weekend) like a good view but not vital good company always helps too....

    First van 1996 ABI sprinter gold 500 , well built but too basic, no hot water or blinds. Went to local dealer to buy toilet flush and bought new bailey ranger 500/5 which we still have 8 years later great wee van.

    Water inlet external flap

    My bailey ranger had the same problem, the flap broke off. Local dealer said buy new unit but in fact when out at another dealer we asked the workshop if they had a spare and they gave us a " second hand" one for free. it's worth asking !

    For a toilet stop, there is a very large parking and visitor centre on A9 south of Newtonmore called Rallia (I think). No food though, but plenty of space if you wanted to eat in your caravan.

    can recommend hairdryer method, we had to do this earlier this year . Moulded trim round the door while warm and stretchy and its still good.

    Have been reading this forum for a while and now finally decided to join in. We have caravanned for 12 years now and I caravanned as a child . Best holidays a family can have in my opinion.

    Thinking of buying a Bailey Ranger 5 berth

    Have Ranger 500/5 2002 model, great van, very adaptable. We have had lots of combinations of kids, grannies, friends on holidays with us. Now we are just 3 and daughter loves her bunk bed. I would recommend it although I dont like this years model just as much.
