We had a 2008 RAV4 2.2 disel until recently (bigger caravan - needed bigger car). It was great - towed really well, not a single problem with it. The only negatives were that the boot space is not huge, and there was no spare wheel.

Yes, on every C&CC site I've been to, they escort you to a pitch which they have chosen for you. We've never had any objections the pitches we've been given, but it would be interesting to see whether it was possible to choose your own.

We went a couple of years ago - found it far too busy and felt we had to keep an eye on the children every second as people were driving too fast on site access roads. Nothing wrong with the site itself though.
