    Bed Making

We always turn the cushions over to make the double in our van and add a fairly thin mattress topper which protects the cushions and helps conceal the joins and the remaining unevenness caused by the knee rolls on the cushions.

Whale water connector for serviced pitch

You don’t need the OEM version of the float valve - generic systems will contain the caps to fit all popular caravan water barrels - I also bought a circular zipped cable bag so that the coiled hose and bits and pieces are stored together and kept clean when not in use.

    Thetford N108 Fridge

If it’s like mine there will be an LED of similar dimensions that will fit the holder in the fridge wall. Are other 12v lights working? If not have you blown the main fuse in the live feed between the battery box and the distribution unit - likely to be 20A?

If you google caravan wheel protectors then you will find cheap elasticated covers and you might consider the so called wheel tyre cradles too

    Lunar Caravan

My caravan is no longer available so I had to nominate a similar layout from a different manufacturer upon which to base my insurance premium. Models change fairly regularly so your insurance company will be used to our situation.

Probably the aerial cable then was passed through the window to the interior and the TV. Not sure why on each side but maybe that gave flexibility on TV position in the van - or the owner liked symmetry!

    Awning

If you lay it out can you find a label near ground level on the front or side - or a small label perhaps sewn in the roof/wall seam to identify the product?

    Tyres

Could be on an aluminium plate by the entrance door, or similar on the rear gas locker wall , or if you can see if there is a plate near to the centre of the axle crossmember. Remember you are looking for the MPTLM not the MIRO (which is the mass in running order of a similar ‘empty’ model off...

    Scams and suchlike.

The breakdown insurance scams are also resurfacing - Calling to say the insurance on your sky dish/washing machine/tv etc is about to expire - my response 'that's a blatant lie as I never buy extended warranty insurance' and sometimes I am a little less polite. I an am also constantly called by...
