Can anyone recommend a campsite for an overnight stop between Bilbao and Malaga, presumably near Madrid which is roughly half way. Or is it safe to sleep in service stations or lorry parks?

I am booking other sites direct and not a member of any of the clubs.

We are intending travelling through Spain and have been looking for an over night stop(s) for one night but all camp sites I have contacted require minimum of 2 or 3 nights. Is it acceptable to stay overnight in the service stations? Or any advice on where or how to search for campsites near...
