Interesting enquiry as I have a 2.2 diesel Jag x Type estate and am thinking of changing to the new Mondeo 2.2 diesel estate or hatch. I tow an Abbey Vogue 495 which as a MLTPM or whatever it is of about 1475kg. My Jag is about 1550kg so it's a bit close to 100% but tows fine. I have the 6 speed...
