Hi For your Avante 524 you need 80kg noseweight. Second, check your towball height is 370-420mm to centre without van hitched. This ensures you are 'nose down' If your tyre pressures are correct you shouldn't have a problem. Bob

In fact, they are only excluded from the height restriction in terms of the towbar/ball fitting, When used to tow a caravan, the ball must be such that the caravan is level or slightly nose down. Also be aware when towing its 50mph on single carriageways. The new cameras can detect car/caravan combos.(as I found out on the A15 Lincolnshire recently)
