    I believe that if one is very tired then they will sleep through wind chimes, lawn mowers and non-threatening noises. I believe if these things are keeping people awake then they are not actually that tired. Just my opinion and experience though.

    YIP. I would agree with Waren Caravan Park nr the coast. Bamburgh. for a 5 yr old boy (I know about them!) There is safe space to run and a playpark. you can hop in the car 10mins to beach,ice cream, scenery etc and hopefuly no wind cos you are a little, tiny bit inland on site.

    ..and no excuse for saying its everywhere.Never went near TV or radio at the camp site.(well, watched 1 DVD relaxingl ate at night, thats it.Went to the beach and the park and sat on our own as a family eating chips and ice-cream (not together on the same plate).

    I am a not a sporty person but respect everyone`s INDIVIDUAL interests. I am scottish and disgusted at some of the comments some people are making.Not all Scottish people are doing this I must say.Fair enough to cheeky banter but when it goes a bit far I cant be doing with it!!

    Bikes inside van

    I put the kids bikes inside king size duvet covers (old ones) in the van and J straps them together.Dont know if this is much use.Sciatica is terrible.Hope you are better soon.

    Belhaven Bay nr Dunbar also has a nice walk to beach. Smaller site but relaxed and kids play in the 2 small play areas.Good meeting place for them!

    I would also recommend Yellowcraig.Excellent toilets and showers.V good playpark on site and another on the walk to the beach.
