I tow n Abbey GTS 416 with a 2.2D Mercedes. I know I am on the weight limit. Often when I brake, there is an audible “thump”. I don’t recall this from previous caravans. Is this normal or ought I be concerned? The van was serviced recently, and the noise predated tge service. Thanks

I do feel that Calor play a bit fast and loose . But they don’t need to keep the agreements - they still always own the cylinders, and it is down to the punter to present THEIR copy. I note, since starting this thread, that Flogas make no promises of returning the “deposit” - it is a one of ...

Thanks. I did see the linked site, but it does not specifically mention the Lite bottles. A few of our local suppliers web sites state that, due to supply issues, they will only supply refills and they must be “like for like”. Hence my apprehension. I do appreciate your input.

When I bought my preowned caravan last year, the vendor proudly showed me two full 6Kg Calor Lite bottles. I had an idea that they were discontinued, but it is only now that one is almost empty that I need to consider the matter. Am I correct in thinking that a supplier will do a straight swap...

I have limited experience if 0% alcohol, it used to be crud, but have fairly recently tried 0% Guinness from a can. It was, surprisingly to me, very good - and I hated canned Guinness in the 80/90’s, only drinking it from bottles if pump delivered not available

To be fair, we would generally avoid on site restaurants in favour of local independents. Site food tends to be expensive, but is obviously more convenient. Takeaway F&C’s, in particular, are a problem for me - by the time one gets back, the chips are generally just a clump of warm claggy...

Fair comment - but it is disingenuous to claim to be a club. I can actually see little benefit to members. For example, the member cost of the Sandringham site is similar to that of the nearby commercial Kelling Heath site, the latter boasting greater facilities. Obviously different people...
