Hi Dusty Its not me that needs the help! Its the OP Robbin it is him that is asking the best way to do it, i had a 2008 Bailey and it was conected the way your caravan is, this was done by a main dealer, do you not think with all there experience they would know the best way of doing it. By the...

Run it round inside the caravan by some means - a satellite box will drive 25m of cable without problem. So it might have to run infront of the door! Or even behind the fridge and oven? When a 4 foot piece of cable dropping down from the tv sockets in the wall would do, what you have to...

But what do you do with the cable if the battery box is on the otherside of the caravan to where your tv cable inlets are located and where the tv sits?

In three caravans i have owned, they have never fitted cables through vent holes, to fit motor movers!

Well we will have to beg to differ! But i notice you never commented on the motor mover! I take it you have got one😉

But there was'nt any ! Anyway you better warn people not to have motor movers fitted because it could put there warranty into jeopardy because of the holes they have to drill.

Quite correct Clive what about when we have motor movers fitted! The wires are passed through the floor through a drilled hole, does that effect our guarantee's.

It was 2008 series 6 padgeant serviced every year and no damp was ever found! Only sold it last year. There was no room in the battery box on that model , your only other locker apart from the front is a wet locker that gives acces under the bed they dont have walls in these, and there is no...

But drilling and fitting a maxiview duel aerial and satallite conector is what the Bailey main dealer did to my brand new caravan ! The conector comes with a seal and mastic sealent was also applied, it is the same as every locker, water pump inlet, fridge vents, every hole in your van has...

What do you mean by wrong side of the door? We had a series 6 Bailey padgeant there was a place for the tv on the door side, there was a panel on this panel was a 13 amp socketa 12 volt socket and a tv aeriel socket, as the van was new i asked them as part of the deal to swap the aerial socket...

In your caravan you will have a aerial socket! You can buy a socket with a aerial and a satellite socket side by side, change that and run a satellite cable down behind any units in your van, then buy a maxiview external socket with a lift up flap on it, drill through the the caravan body and...
