    am not sure what to do. Thought I was buying a good tow car. Thought about changing to a xtrail but they don't seem any better. Is the answer to change to a automatic? All I want is a car that tows backwards as well as forwards! chris

    most newish freelanders are manual, Auto much more expensive and I didnt think I would have a problem with a landrover At least thats whats the salesman said!
