Country Lass, we also winter caravan on the site you are referring to. You are right ,it has always been cleared in years previous. I see on the CC website that the site is closed due to weather conditions.

That means the Conqueror has gone up over £1500 in a year.

Been in the summer, nice site but a bit out from Grange over Sands. It's a narrow road approaching the site so don't arrive too early. Excellent butcher in Grange.

Definately change it. Tha oil gets very hot on an auto box and as previously said it is the life blood of the box and the oil should be a clearish colour. I was advised by an auto transmission specialist to change the fluid every year.
