There is a website which tells you what your noseweight should be - getting it as close to the correct noseweight as possible means a safe and comfortable tow, and when we get it within about 5kg of what is recommended we can't really tell the caravan is on the back from the way everything...

We got a 'Thor dead blow Hammer'. A tad expensive at £30+ but gets you started and then use the drill attachment on our screw pegs to get them seated fully in. The benefit to the screw pegs is it is then so easy to remove them with the drill again.

Our (blue) Alde heating fluid is on 'minimum' when cold and left for a day or so. I've seen on the internet that pink fluid is recommended. The van is a 2021 model but new to us from a dealership about months ago. Should I top it up or arrange for it to be filled with pink stuff?

Aaah - yes. That might account for the light front end! Yes, the spare wheel is a fair bit behind the axle, but there is no front locker; however the balance of things now makes more sense. Thank you 👍
