thank you - this is very helpful. Anyone been in the school hols July/August?

We have been taking our caravan to France for the last 10 years. Prior to that we camped in France and Germany. I fancy going to the Ardeche in July /August but the distance puts me off. Plus I do not like being in really busy areas where you have to get into town by 9 am or not bother...
