Could a motor mover be the answer to our problem

Two very good points there. I also make sure the jockey wheel is always trailing. If not, when it swivels round, it can move the van. My hard wheel also digs into some gravel i have. To overcome this, I drop a wooden board on the gravel section and the wheel goes over that. One more point -...

    Bailey Spare Wheel

Hi. Having just bought my first van, a bailey pageant provence, I thought I'd have a dry run with the spare before I need to in an emergency. Even with the main tyres inflated, could I get it out?...no chance. What a crap design! Total waste of time, and probably dangerous too, having to spend...

    Caravan tyres

If you live near derby, this is the place to go. BAB motors. I'd been trying for 2 weeks to locate some tyres. Tried all the dealers, and no-one gave me any confidence that they knew what I needed. Most had no idea. BAB were brilliant, knew straight away what I had to have, and it appears they...

    bike carrier

Hi. Have a look here: http://www.maxxraxx.co.uk/ I have a 4 bike carrier. Fantastic. Solid, easy to use, and very secure. Even comes with a little winch to secure bikes. Up to now have only had 2 bikes on with the van. The best carrier I've had. I had roof mounted before, but very hard work.

    Working farms?

David, thanks for the reply. I do understand your point. It's quite a sad world now isn't it that kids can't do the things we would have maybe done with out a thought. Jo, that sounds fantastic and I'll have a look. We're planning on going anywhere and everywhere, so it's a good place to start...

    Bike Carriers

Hi. I had roof mounted ... nightmare. Difficult to get bikes on. Never happy that they were secure. Then an incident with a carpark height restriction barrier meant the carrier was destined for the skip. I now have a MAXXRAXX. Fantastic. Strong, rugged, easy to fit, dead easy to load the bikes...

We've replaced the fitted microwave in our Bailey Senator

Hi. I'm also looking at fitting a m/w in my bailey provence, and was just contempling vents. I'm just in the process of trying to source a 12v fan that wouldn't be affected by throughput of steam. Can anybody tell me, on new vans where m/w's are fitted, do they have a vent to outside the van...

    Working farms?

Hi. We've just bought our first caravan, a Bailey Pageant Provence. We want to make the most of our time with the children before they grow up. We've booked our first trip to Jacob's Mount in Scarborough, but have been looking for a good site somewhere on a farm. I'm imagining somewhere where...
