La Colombiere is a great site with exellent restaurant.we stayed 5 nights.owner is very friendly and helpful.big,private pitches.The owner does a guided tour of geneva for a few euros per person.

was thinking of stopping twice, on route but may go for the one stop where you suggest.

can anyone advise on keeping peugeot 406 cool.it is a great towcar but tends to get very warm on long inclines.We are going to Italy in June.The last time we went in 2003, the temp gauge was almost touching red in Switzerland.The car is a 2.1 turbo diesel,with a manual gear-box.
