    Mitsubishi Pajero

    If its any help to you, my Shogun auto weights are: Kerbweight 2760Kg, Gross train weight 6060KG Max Noseweight 115KG You will have no problem towing your caravan with your stated weight.The Mitsi is such a good towcar that you have to remember its on the back!

    What towcar to pick?

    We are currently towing with a Mitsubishi Shogun LWB 3.5 litre petrol. Its a brilliant towcar. I previously had a Volco V70 2.5 litre. The Shogun is superior in every way

    There is a Caravan Club site just outside Scarborough, which is very good, and very convenient for the area.

    Incleborough Fields

    We have visited this site several times, but very few, if any pitches have sea views. This is quite a large site that is divided up into many smaller enclosures. Some of the pitches in these have some hardstandings.My own preferred area is on the far side of the site ( Numbers 200- 225 I think...

    12s electrics& 13 pole

    Re 13 pin plugs. A couple of years ago I had a Volvo V70, which was fitted with a 13 pin plug system. I found the connections to be unreliable so I changed mine to 12N 12S arrangements I had no trouble after that.

    Method for levelling van

    I find the best way to level is to use a levelling ramp(home made out of wood, steps about one inch high) Get onto site, and if levelling required side to side, pull forward onto levelling board. When this is done level front to back using jockey wheel Corner steadies should not be used to jack...
