    Winter 'Fridge Covers

Simple solution to that - pop them on eBay and you will almost certainly get at least half of your money back. By the way, we have loads of trees in our garden and the vent covers keep all the autumn leaves out and are a bonus when washing the caravan.

    Fridge wont run when towing

I had this same problem. Bought a cheap 13 pin socket tester, which showed that no switched live supply was available for the fridge circuit. Found a blown fuse in the SAM unit in the car boot - replaced same and the problem was solved.

    Winter 'Fridge Covers

Have found them invaluable for winter trips - just wish they weren't so darned expensive. I feel they should be included with any fridge installation - not supplied as an expensive extra.

Hi ProfJohnL Your comments are all valid and worth noting by all caravanners contemplating adding heavy alternatives to original specifications, such as motor movers etc. I believe that all caravanners need a 'Be' classification licence, unless their caravan weighs less than 750kg. I have...

    Automatic car and trailer connection

This is an un-braked small trailer and in the UK, a second securing cable is also legally required, (much heavier gauge than a break-away cable). Also 9 pin connection, not suitable for caravan. System is unlikely to meet regulations for towing a 2 ton caravan.

Hi Anseo Thx for your response. As you will know, all these systems have installation instructions available online, so fitting procedure is not the issue. What they don't tell you is how to overcome the difficulties that each caravan model will present, or whether a 'not so new' caravan has...

    Latest Technology DIY projects

Hi Sadly, I am a bit of a DIY fanatic and have just finished 'Techifying' our latest caravan for the coming season. So if anyone would like practical advice on fitting any of the following systems themselves, I may be able to help with the following topics: iNet Box, Truma Air-Con, remote...
