Have the same problem with mine.
The 'key' seems to have very little profile to engage on the bolt. Have to rotate the key VERY carefully as I feel for it to engage, then VERY carefully try to hold it in position while I get the spanner on to undo it. This usually takes a few attempts as the...
Is it a Maplins or a SKY box? My understanding is that the Maplins kits (Usually Comag) wouldn't show a SKY channel anyway - same satellite but a 'different' signal (I'm no expert!)

For a TV the Tesco Technika 15.6" has Freeview, DVD, 16/9 aspect ratio, will run on 12v in addition to mains, is quite attractively finished and seems to be the cheapest around at
Something I've noticed on all posts regarding satellite set up is the continued reference to having the dish on a pole or a tripod as if this is relevant to signal strength.
My understanding is that the Astra satellite that we're all looking for is pretty high up in the sky, not low on the...
Steady on people!!
Maybe I read something wrong here but my impression (as perhaps was Sadies') was that it was implied that customer complaints contributed to the demise of the business. On that basis Sadies' comment was not without justification.

Many porch awnings have an optional inner tent which overcomes the issue of the awning not being sealed at the caravan sides. They are suspended inside the awning to provide an inner tent the same as in most modern tents. Our Kampa Rally 390 has one as do the Sunncamp tunnel type awnings...
Used a 39cm dish at Lacanau, just west of Bordeaux recently with excellent results despite awful weather. Using a Maplin (Comag) SCART receiver so not Sky but as I understand it's all the same satellite (Astra 29E?)so perhaps not a problem.

Used our Rally 390 twice now and very happy with it.
First time was a week at Keswick - was easy to put it up - less pole threading than the the Sunncamp range as only the roof top sections are fibreglass and run through sleeves, the vertical sections are metal and attached by simple clips...
There's a couple of people with them posting here Glenn.
Picked up ours just before Easter and it's everything we expected of it.
It's our first van, brilliant layout now copied by the other manufacturers but not bettered I suspect!
The only really negative comment I've seen posted on it is...
If you're thinking of changing you should really check out the Kampa Rally take on this style (390 & 260).
More expensive but possibly a bit sturdier - poles are half steel and half fibreglass which if nothing else reduces threading poles into sleeves by 50%. Also slightly larger with a depth...
Hi Brenda
I believe that would have been me
We only took delivery recently (see my post in General re Discover about that!)
I suppose we too will get used to the tap - if only because it's too much hassle to get it changed!
