    Lights main and independent

I’m interested. The choice I have is each light has its own switch (about 20), or here is the master. If the master is off all are off and can only be switched on at the master or they’re all on and you have to switch each off individually. My other van you could do both

Rear view camera installation - Bailey Unicorn

I’ve also a decent monitor from another camera I could use, but it looks like this monitor is bespoke as it’s just a power cable and must have an internal receiver to get the wireless image. Frustrating as it also turns off after 120 seconds, not a game changer, but would be better if I could...

Rear view camera installation - Bailey Unicorn

I came back from France (>2000 miles) and i'm really pleased with the camera - no issues, remained connected and with good picture - except when the sun was shining directly into the camera. I'm not overly pleased with the build quality of the monitor though - although picture quality is very...

Rear view camera installation - Bailey Unicorn

Further update regarding the solar rear camera. if you buy direct from their website, it's cheaper than the large river website. i drove the car away from the caravan and it remained connected to the camera for a good 50 yards or more. good quality picture too. will be using it in anger this...

Rear view camera installation - Bailey Unicorn

Just bought and installed it, I’m away next weekend so will report how it goes. Initial thought pic looks good (at night and in the rain), but the angle the camera can be tilted by much is limited, but that is easily rectified.

    Bailey Madrid 2016 road lights

No problem to fix, just to access the wires - main light feed. Looks like the back panel comes off, anyone know if it does and if the wires are behind it?

Ryedale Caravans (Shepshed, Leics) gone into administration

Oh dear, this is so sad . they’re local to me and I really wanted to support them. They’ve been helping me to look for a caravan for a number of years and the time and patience they’ve spent with me is phenomenal. I noticed 2 weeks ago that they had quite a lot of stock, lots from...

Spare tyre on used caravan from dealer

Thanks all for the comments. Raymond James provided a new set of tyres on the wheels but didn’t change the spare, which was my challenge with them. Does look like there is no industry requirement, and despite what they told me when I asked when buying the ‘van, they have no requirement to...

Spare tyre on used caravan from dealer

I bought a 2016 caravan (Bailey Madrid) from Raymond James in Warwickshire just before Christmas. I have found that the spare tyre is original (2016) and by my calcs should have been replaced as it is well over 5 years old and so past the recommended replacement age. It went back or snags to...

Bailey Madrid 2016 - removal of wiring cover/conduit

Anyone know how i remove this cover - Bailey Madrid, 2016, rear bathroom above the shelf. I need to access the wiring behind it. Is it just clipped in place? Don't want to pull to hard in case it's screwed/glued and I break it.

Rear view camera installation - Bailey Unicorn

i tried this on my previous 'van, but found the camera was too low and provided poor field of view, so put it to the top. I'm interested in how the camera is powered, if you have no cables?
