Several sites around Looe with only about 20-25 min drive down to Raliegh, whilst avoiding rush hour in Plymouth and the Torpoint Ferry.

Have a look at Carnac/ Trinity-sur-mer area. Camping Des Menhirs in Carnac is our fav.

Having just returned to bikeing after several years i can understand your dilema. I have a 30 min. comute home across dartmoor, the best therapy you can have at the end of the day!

Thanks. We have been to most parts of Brittany, but have never visited Guerande. Having looked at the area now I think perhaps next time we are staying around Vannes we will make a day trip there.

LOOKING FOR A GOOD SITE FOR THE SUMMER, POSSIBLY WITH A POOL, TWO YOUNG BOYS (3 + 5) TO ENTERTAIN. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ?

Stayed at this site last month in Carnon Yellow close to the shower's, best we have ever seen, there was some road noise but we didn't find it to intrusive. One of the best site's we have stayed on.

Try Carnac, Camping des Menhirs, about 500m from beach. Or Trinity sur mer, 2 good sites here with access to beach just outside the gates.

I'am sure there are some good site's around Normandy and North Britany but if you are prpared to drive a little bit further, try southern Britany around Carnac and Trinity sur mer. Several good site's, good beaches and a lot to see in the area.

Try to book into a couple C.C. sites last week, at the last minute to be told sorry no pitches available, fair enough. Found a site in the area no more than a mile further up the road, had to pass one of the club sites every day and there appeared to be alot of empty pitches all week. Another...
