    I’ve purchased this tin Gloss white from their page they list suitable primers as HYCOTE SPRAYPAINT PRIMERS [XUK452 – 454], HYCOTE BODYSHOP ACRYLIC PRIMERS [XUK425 – 427] I can only find the 425-427 range when I search online which is grey, red, white. Those with experiance do you recommend...

    Cheers, I sanded the area immediately around the hole and cleaned further out. When I sand it down to to a raised finish I’ll prime a large area and spray it. Never done any of this before, good job it’s on the top as it will probably look pretty naff lol.

    Will do, I didn’t know if I had to get anything particular to make sure it was compatible with the fibre glass filler. I attempted a repair today, need to sand it down Wednesday, prime and paint.

    I agree, 1 spot was visibly raised. I will drill that open, fill it with the rest. I don’t see anything visible inside. As it doesn’t have a timber frame I’m hoping if these get sealed up it will dry up if damp. I’ll then have to monitor to try and identify and ongoing

    That's excellent thanks. I guess its a case of masking the area off a little, shoving as much of the stuff into the chip as you can and then smoothing the top off. Once set light sanding and spray, For the size of these chips (around 8mm dia.) I'm tempted to used a touch up pen.

    New to the forum, but have viewed many articles in the past. On cleaning the caravan roof today I found a number of punctures in the plastic rear panel. Underneath it looks like fibre glass and the plastic top is a little brittle at those holes. As it’s the roof portion that nobody will see...
