    Thetford N112 Fridge Fault

No confusion on my part.....my Swift Group caravan works in exactly the same way as yours. There is a tendency by some to think all makes and models of caravan work in exactly the same way.....how their caravan works must be how yours works!

    Scandinavia

......the Norcamp app lists the campsites. We took our caravan up to Narvik in 2009 on a 4 week trip. Crossings were via Denmark and the Oresund bridge to Malmo Sweeden and returned via the Helsingbord Ferry. Went in June with 22 hours of daylight. We didn't bother going right up to the North...

Still have not got 12v fridge feed working!

......on a forum such a technical problem can only be dealt with by pointing out the most likely scenario. The fact that the fridge works on gas and mains voltage is irrelevant. When you say the car to fridge voltage is 13.8....where are you talking this measurement? It needs to be taken at the...

Camping La Manga, Murcia Spain, Anyone stayed there???

......... booking Spanish southern costal campsites is now essential I have found. Gone are the days pre Covid of arriving at a campsite without a booking and usually finding space. Recently was in Andalusia, end ofJan- early March.....all the costal sites fully booked! Europeans have been...

Swift Challenger 2013 Damp around Window, Whats best to do?

.......beware here! Where the damp/leak shows itself is not necessarily where the water enters the structure. I have a 2012 Challenger 586 and I have had a leak that showd itself in 2019. This was also at the bottom of one of the small front windows. The water was entering from the panoramic...

    Why isn't caravaning cool?

Drones on campsites can be a source of conflict. I was on a campsite last year where a family was asked to leave for flying a drone. The wardens had no choice but to act when a substantial number of other campers became furious at overhead flying.

    Regarding towing

CAMC and any owner of a caravan outfit can easily find out the plated maximum weight of a caravan and the kerb weight of the towing vehicle. For example and in my case...... Hyundai Santa Fe 2016 = around 2000kgs. Swift caravan =1600kgs. I easily fulfill the CAMC requirement. Tow my caravan...

Very very sad news:( He will be totally irreplaceable on this forum. He stamped his personality over many years being absolutely fair with his mediation with no favouritism. I met him several times, liked him a lot and got on well with him. Didn't make any difference ..... I still got...

    Fuses

.....I had a 1995 Swift Challenger and all the fuses for the appliances were red blade fuses @ 10 amps. A Swift Corniche of that era was the same. I agree with it being a fault with the submersible water pump which is almost certainly a Whale. I would replace the pump. You can get a Whale DIY...

    portable battery charger required

.....I've always had cheap battery chargers but now have a 10 amp Cteck @ £120. Got it last Christmas as a present. It recovered a flat battery in my wife's car that was recently left for 6 weeks in our garage whilst we were away with the caravan. Worth every penny of my son and daughter in...
