I wouldn't be inclined to pay for a fitted awning. Our first van didn't have one and we used several stand alone ones over the years. We only have the current one because it was on the van when we bought it but don't use it all that often.

If you go to use the site which Tony mentioned, take care to check for any newer restrictions. Search for sites is known for continuing to list places where one can supposedly stay even when they no longer are (or never have been).

Presumably you mean camping overnight rather than simply parking for a short while. At that time of night you will probably be too late to get into a caravan site unless you can find a late night arrivals area. The CAMC has a site at Rookesbury Park near Fareham which might have a late night...
