Jockey wheel + Nose weight gauge

OK That's it, no fancy scale. Now on a more serious note JOCKEY WHEELS?

Jockey wheel + Nose weight gauge

Good comment John, however the slight error 5/10 degrees will make on a reading sure beats my last lifetime of towing without a clue of the weight. My car / tow hitch is low so what happens is, the first traffic hump we reach if it scrapes we stop and shift weight to the back on the van...

Jockey wheel + Nose weight gauge

Hi Anyone used one of these? or how do you measure your noseweight? Secondly I need a new Jockey wheel Any suggestions about what make/model you use or which you think is most durable. That means the whole assembly, not just the wheel itself? Cheers

    Car satnavs

Although I have a built in Peugeot satnav on my recent trip Chester to Germany I used Google maps. Absolutely great, regular traffic updates and suggestions to avoid congestion's etc! Excellent experience! And as already mentioned works through my car sound system and OH yes plays my Spotify...

Yes that load resistor speed control system is the same as in many older caravan fans!

I bet those fires were explainable as in mainly electrical shorts resulting from poorly maintained systems. But not a healthy working systems spontaneous combustion!

Let's say theoretically I were to tackle this, I would go about it the following way. Will prospective attendees tell me their nearest town. That way I will plot a map of woosies wishing to attend which will help with selecting a prospective site. Secondly a two (better still three) consecutive...

Off topic a little, but does anyone actually know what Net Zero actually means? Net zero is a spread sheet exercise that does not in any way remotely reduce actual carbon emissions! All it does is make people feel good about polluting supposedly balancing their pollution on someone else's luck...

Let alone Betamax, what about the zealot drive to buy diesel 10 years ago! Anyway it is an ideological dream that people without any thought agree to until the consequences hit their pockets then all hell breaks lose! IMO

    You couldn’t make it up!!

On the general issue of EV's it is pie in the sky, certainly in the next decade or two. Having completed a 2000 mile round trip van in tow to Germany I can say even if I could afford the £50/£70 K to buy a suitable EV towing car, it would not work. First problem is recharging. Reports give 200...

    You couldn’t make it up!!

Interesting point: As far as I can see... How much CO2 does burning 1kg of methane produce? 2.75 kg Burning 1 kg of methanol makes 1.37 kg of carbon dioxide. Today methane is actually produced by burning, you guessed it, methane. Now add the CO2 produced to burn methane to get methanol and yes...
