Thanks for all the comments. It would be the 2.2 or 2.0 diesel model that I would go for and I'll be sure to check the towing limt with the dealer before I take the plunge.

Looked on the V5 for my existing car, a Honda Civic and theres nothing about towing limits.

Thanks Jeff. I have phoned a local towbar installer and he did have a make that was compatible. He would have sent me a picture of it fitted from the manufacturer website but didn't know how to do it. Might get back to him and tell him how to do it. Sounded like there was a smallish hole drilled...

Hi, Does anyone have this model. I'm about to buy a 2009. All the reviews I've read are good. Just wanted to know what sort of towbar you'd had fitted and what it was like to tow.
