Beware tick Bourne Diseases in dogs.

We used one of these collars for our dogs when we travelled abroad. The collar is called a Scalibor collar & only available through your vet. They quite happily order one for you as they don't stock them over here. Hope this helps. Hilary

I know this question doesn't relate to your question, but would you mind telling me if you encountered any problems taking your dog to either Italy or Austria? Do you need to muzzle your dog in these countries at all? Thanks.

Good areas for walking with dogs?

We are planning on taking our dogs to France next year & would like to know of any good walking areas where they would be welcome. I notice some of the French National Parks do not allow dogs. Any suggestions appreciated.

Taking dogs on holiday to Austria

Has anyone ever taken their pet dog to Austria on holiday? I have read somewhere they need to wear a muzzle if travelling on public transport ie. trains/cablecars or in crowded areas, does anyone know if this is true. Would appreciate any feedback.
