I know this is a horribly old tread, but I've been looking at some leisure batteries with 110 amps made by Diamond. The ones I'm looking at are £85.99, but with one year warranty as opposed to 5 - just wondering if that would be a problem? Do leisure batteries fail often? The actual battery...

Could anyone suggest how hot is too hot, I think it would be a useful tip.

Just wanted to say a quick 'Hi'. I'm no expert when it comes to caravans but I'm very interested and hoping to learn more. I thought long and hard about getting a motorhome, and I'm a bit more into caravans by now. Hopefully I can learn from all of you here. Jeff

I'm a dad, semi-retired. Not an owner yet, but very interested. Would love anything with a huge television. Intend to travel with the Wife.

I would have to suggest that you use one anyway, it's much better to use the warning squre as it's a safety issue - regardless of whether there is a legal requirement or not.
