Thanks Paulus, I'll have another go tonight. I've tried twisting them, pulling them, levering them but perhaps I've not turned them far enough as I was worried I could end up breaking something. There was nothing I can find in the van's manual.

I have a Bailey Pageant 5 Series Provence. It has 17 (17!) 12V halogen spot lamps and as we often go to sites with no hook-up I'd like to swap them for LED replacements. I have done so for the units with individual switches and MR11 bulbs (4 each end and 2 over the kitchen area) as these seem...
