Have you thought of the skoda superb 4x4 estate auto that way you get the best if both worlds as they use the running gear out of the Audi and should be heavy enough to tow your van and they're a good drive solo

thanks for your replys, it was just to top up the battery and we do have one of the suit case solar panel as the main charger. it is a honda generator

what d people think about petrol genarators, we are due to go away with the inlaws (in there own van) but to keep the battery topped up i am thinking of taking one of my honda generatorswith use to keep both vans going.

we also pick up our new tow car next week and have just changed over the van to change over the plugs to just one 13 plug and it only took 10 mins and the plug was only £10
