Could be that the oil level was low from a previous service, independent garage for me, too it up and monitor over a few month.

I just fill my ford ranger up at the fuel station when the light on the dash tells me to, similar pump dispenser to the fuel pump, easy and no drama.

I use the polar blast on our van but the pressure is switched very low, less that the hose pipe I'd say, snow foam followed by wash mitt and quality shampoo in a proper washing bucket with grid to drain any grit etc. Always comes up nice.

We use a specialised cover and wouldn’t be without it, keeps all clean. Cracking idea about fitting it to the rear to dry out! Regards

If I have reversed the van onto the pitch, I pull forward a foot or so,I have found the hitch always lifts off easily, if I don't do this, the van hirch is under compression and is a 3ugger to unhitch. Kev

Going back to the tram lining, in my experience of towing (28years), it’s something you will get on a lot of the inside lanes and whilst unpleasant, try and relax. For me, the worst was on the A34 until it was resurfaced. When I was towing with a lighter Citroen, the effect seemed worse, now...

Our van is the same layout as the alpine 2, we have a TV that sits on the front table / drawer box during the daytime then we move it to sit above the fridge at night. Kev

Dave, Last swap for us a week or so ago was £34 from Oxon Park, Shrewsbury. We don’t tend to use a lot of gas, just kettle and grill for toast. Only ran through a bottle quickly due to the fridge element going awol, that’s fixed to situation normal.

We currently tow with a Ford Ranger Wildtrack Bi Turbo. No evidence whatsoever within the van of a harsh ride, things remain where stored etc. The Truck is very stable as a tow vehicle although fuel economy is a bit low,not a problem fortunately as I have a fuel card. 10 speed autobox is great...

No local 6kg propane today, tried 5 places. Lady Margrets Camc may have had some but the jobsworth receptionist will only sell to those staying on site, not interested if you are a paying member or not. Lots of empties in the dealers. Kev
