recently bought aeurovent combi porch awning when i thread it up the rail the front end is up in the air does the front end need to be cut (the awning piping) or do i need to open up the awning rail at the top of the caravan

can anybody help bought a eurovent combi porch awning when we thread it onto the caravan the front side is up in the air do i have to cut the pipeing or cut the awning rail so the awning drops 90 degrees thankyou
