no i tow with discovery 2 it is an absolutly brilliant tow vechical,people can knock them as much as they like but i wouldn't change it,and apparently discovery 3 is better.

I have towed with manual and auto we are towing with auto at the moment are van is a elddis 505 and i would'nt go back to manual,auto makes towing much more relaxed I'm sure you would get used to it

Hi Lee I have a frontera 2.2 petrol and it tows my elddis 505 mtplm 1450 with ease and not bad on fuel for a petrol.

forgot to add the pdq had been on the van for a month and when opened to erect my husband got soaked as it had filled with water, this is never right and it had nothing to do with the way it was put on the van, as before it was bought the man that sold it to us fron pyramid said they fit all...

thanks for your reply, we used seal sealent on the stitching twice but it still leaked, and the zip idea is stupid so much so the supplier is collecting it and we are having a refund, hope you have more luck with yours.

Has anybody got a pdq awning, as we have just come back from a few days away and the awning leaked around the stitching, just wondering if any one else as had the same problem or did we buy a friday awning.

we also had the same problem 20kg out, we took the one we had back to the shop and eventually they gave us our money back, now it's back to the bathroom scales.

The frontera as a tow car is brilliant although the one we have is a 2.2 petrol, but having said that we have spoken to people with the 2.2 diesel and they have said the same as we think of the fronty but I'm not sure if they were auto or manual,hope this is of some help to you.

we use the bull dog stabilizer,and until lately are's creaked we tryed cleaning the disc's off but until we replaced the disc's it continued to creak, now it is fine.

we have the same prolem as our caravan nose weight is 100kg with two gas bottles and the spare wheel instead of moving the spare wheel we use the awning and tined food adjusted over the axle to get the nose weight we also weight the van with a nose gage just to be safe, and we find this works...

we bought a elddis last year which was 18 months old and the warrenty continued on to us, surely the dealer that is selling the van should sort this problem out.

Yes you will have to drill two holes on the caravan to hold the blade support, hope this sorts your problem.

I tow with a vauxhall Frontera 2.2 petrol solo I get 28-30 if husband is driving it drops to 22-24, towing which I do we get 22-24 can't afford husband to tow.

I agree with you I have three dogs and we were away last week end and watched a lady let her dog wee up somebody elses awning with no attemp to pull the dog away, this was after she had let her dog walk of lead to our caravan where it was attacked by my german shepard which was on a lead, and...
