    Why Butane and not Propane?

Hi Ian, I've just done a search and came up with a result where the opposite is true. http://www.landmann.co.uk/support.htm They say that theirs use propane but will use butane with reduced performance. Have a read and if it's true then look around for one that uses propane. Hope this helps...

    Annecy Anyone??

I'm not sure I can help much but I was in that area during the summer on a motorcycle tour. I stayed in Aix Les Bains for a couple of nights before moving on to Sisteron. We had a great ride around Annecy and on to Chamonix/Mont Blanc one day. Not sure if I'd like to pull my caravan around those...

damage to my caravan while being repaired

Maria, Please don't get stroppy, you asked a question and Angus answered it. He's also correct in what he's saying, it is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle before signing for it. I have just spent alot of money buying a new car from a very good dealer and I still went over everything...

    portsmouth - bilbao

I know it's none of my business and people have free choice etc but why do people still use the Portsmouth/Bilbao ferry, it doesn't make sense? This ferry makes the crossing in 35 hours where as the Plymouth/Santander ferry does it in 18. That's a day and half added to your time in Spain rather...

    Klein Strand - Belgium

Has anyone stayed here at anytime? If you've stayed here during the winter I'd really like to hear from you. I'm thinking about going in January for a few days and as it's close and easy to get to it rings all the right bells to me. Cheers Mark

If you don't let him drive it soon you'll be sitting on the naughty stair Allyson! Remember, Christmas is coming and Santa only comes to good girls and boys;-)

stopping unwanted calls to my phone

As others have said, register with the Telephone Preference Service, it works! If you do get any calls after that, ask who is calling and then report them. One thing I used to do was to say I had a chip pan on and put the phone down and say I'd be back soon and then leave it for ages. They are...

I can't remember the weight of the car but the van was 1300Kg an Avondale Argente 460/2. Mark

We did it, are we one of the 4 x 4 clan now?

I had one of these a couple of years ago and loved it. It wasn't the strangest engine in the world and it was hard work to pull the van now and then but it never let me down and was fantastic in the mud and snow. Hope you enjoy it to the max. Mark

    Single Rallies?

Are there such things as a "Singles Rally"? Being on my own I would like to meet someone who shares my hobby and it has occured to me that there must be others in my situation. Where are they advertised if they do exsist? Has anyone ever met their partner through caravanning? Thanks Mark
