    Ground sheet recommendation please

We have a Vango awning and bought the bespoke awning carpet for the make and size. It is sort of “Moroccan carpet” woven style. Has lasted well and is good underfoot. Mel

    what to go.

I believe gentle heating with a hairdryer has helped get it back into place. From what I have read; it is not uncommon and the hairdryer approach, while initially successful is not always a long term solution

    Faded Kampa Awning

According to Google, you can get products that revive the colour of canvas. Amazon sell a boat canvas colour reviver. I have no idea whatsoever if it is suitable for caravan awnings. A bit of digging around in the internet may flush something out. Like Mr Plodd my experience with a simple...

    Reich mover not budging

Hope it is fixable for you, but may be worth alerting the site warden/owner to the possible need to Marshall several strong folks to help shove. In my experience people are happy to lend a push if they know it is needed. Good luck Mel

Running Dometic Under counter Refrigerator.. Gas/Generator/Solar..

Just Googled a picture of your model of van. Bailey usually put the gas locker on the offside; but in the D4 it seems to in the middle of the near side. Somewhat daft arrangement. Others may know better than me if an awning would allow sufficient ventilation to deal with leaks; and the potential...

    Offside lower awning rail

There is a special tool that will open the awning rail. I understand that the tool is stupidly expensive but just a two minute job. Give your dealership a ring and get them to do it. If you bought it privately find an AWS technician who can come and do it for you. Don’t try and bodge it yourself...

Anyone watched the Snowpiercer TV series?Fiction but exactly the scenario Buckman envisages. Hopefully too crackpot and expensive to ever proceed. Mel

    AA top rated facilities

There are much nicer sites than those run by Haven. I assume you had children with you. There are various search sites; ukcampsite as mentioned by DD is among the best as you can filter by your requirements. This one is not bad either https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/campsites If you are on FB...
