    Dodgy 6KG Propane cylinder

We had a leaking cylinder which actually wasn’t leaking. We had just picked up a brand new caravan and taken it to the site. The quarter full gas cylinder had been transferred from our trade in van to the new van by the dealers technicians. We get on site; turn the gas on via the knob on the top...

    Sunncamp rotunde 300 awning

At £50, it would be worth a punt even if you only got 2 years use out of it. Even a second hand Isabella at c£400 ( if you can find one) would have to last you 16 years to work out the same. Mel

Can you get a local ( to wherever the van is) mobile technician to go and look it and advise you what you need? Mel

    Another scam

On parking scams: guess you have all seen the one where there is a QR code stuck on a payment machine and a sign telling you to scan it. It’s a scam. Mel

Opinions, Eriba vs "sensible" choice for off season?

Just to add to your deliberations; given this sort of thing is what you plan on doing; are you sure it is a Caravan rather than a panel van or Motorhome that you want. Mel

This may have already been suggested in other threads but Bailey Phoenix 440 or Swift Alpine 4? Good luck in your continuing search Mel

    Thinking of a restart!

As I have posted before, we were on a Seasonal pitch for some 7 years and didn’t get bored. Being able to escape at the weekend saved my sanity during a particular sat of life circumstances. Go for it. Mel

I don’t know but I am pretty confident that the pano window is classed as body shell. I will DM you the guy who s doing ours. He came well recommended; at least you can then ring him for a chat if you wanted. Mel

    The dreaded Swift crack.

Ours is less than 3 years old. Warranty claim submitted by a Swift approved warranty AWS. We hadn’t used him for servicing. Was recommended by another Swift Approved AWS who we did use for servicing. I can DM you with his name; but he is some distance from you. Mel
