Reading your account of events i thought it was a posting i made whilst under the influence and could recall having wrote it, It was more than likely my caravan you heard the wretching from, i totally agree with your recolection of the site and as other postings have mentioned not enough fuss...

We stayed there early August for 1 night, very basic site with some small pitches also suffers from reverse polarity my advice is alright for overnight stop but would advise against any longer stay
