    Cable TV on sites

Just saying....its a long and expensive way to go to watch telly! I suppose the view out of the 'front room' window changes though. So i have to concede that. But, i have seen one French caravan with a telly bigger than his front window!

    Cable TV on sites

I've never understood the serious requirement to watch telly abroad. (although we have one in.) If the weather is good - and usually it is, we are sat out. If push really does come to shove, and we are 'confined' with a monsoon or similar, we will watch a DVD. I watched a very large German...

    Kia Sportage 2010 2.0 CRDi

Obviously something badly wrong. A holed turbo hose, maybe? Or even the turbo itself. My sons turbo let go on his Navara, and it would barely pull itself down hill.

    My purchase paranoia

On the flip side to this stingyness; i bought a motorhome from Barons (i think) near York. I said i wanted a leisure battery throwing in - no problem sir. And TWO gas bottles - certainly sir. A set of floor mats - sure thing. Finally, ...half a tank of diesel? Err sorry sir, we cant use the...

    Kia Sportage 2010 2.0 CRDi

Is this after the first tow, or a few? I am thinking maybe brakes binding/handbrake partially stuck on the caravan, unless you know its not that? The car shouldn't struggle to the extent you are saying. Something needs looking at before you burn the clutch out.

    My purchase paranoia

I can't believe what they see as acceptable as being missing on a new caravan. I can just accept the bottle being missing as its a consumable, but the pigtail?? Its like buying a new cooker with no knobs. You are left paying extra to be able to use the good as intended. I don't see how this can...

    Suitable wood glue.

I would also try the 'iron' route first. Glueing can be a nightmare with something so 'on show' as doors. You need exactly enough to cover the edges, but you don't want it bleeding out. Which such as 'gorilla' glue will definitely do. Then its cleaning off, without causing damage!

    Single or stable door?

Its horses for courses surely. I can well understand if you had a dog that might hurl itself straight through a screen door, so half and half could be a benefit. I was very happy when, by pure luck, our new van had a full door. Otherwise, errant dogs aside, i can see no plusses to having one...

    Blocked Toilet

Cheers mate. I am well up to speed on emptying them. I just didn't know the spout detached (so easily). Not sure i would detach mine to empty though. I would have thought it would go all over the place? Hopefully this will help the OP in some way though.

    What crisis🤔

Unless you mis-heard, and everybody has the runs?

    Blocked Toilet

Well, i didn't know that. Which position do you turn it to. And does that disengage some tabs or something to free it?

    Blocked Toilet

I cannot think of how the cassette could get blocked, unless its the spout? Even then, a coat hanger or drain wire will sort that (not that i've ever had to unblock one). Unless, the things been filled to the top, and left to fester for months?

    Single or stable door?

That conjures up an image of Mr Ed, in my 'ead! :giggle:

    Single or stable door?

Cant be doing with letting the flies (or mozzies) in, with half a door open. Luckily, our new 'van has a full door by accident as opposed to choice, with a better window as previously mentioned by thingy.

    Single or stable door?

I don't think your flyscreen will work on half a door either.
