Merc E320 auto estate (petrol) towing Eccles Explorer at 1500kg. Solo 22 around town to 28 on long runs, towing about 22 on back roads, maybe 24 on motorways. Brilliant towcar by the way. Well done for coming up with the idea for this thread!

No personal experience, but my mate swears by his 2l petrol Berlingo (and the diesel would be even better). But he's towing a considerably lighter van than yours - I'd think long and hard before taking the plunge with a 500/5

Hi Sean. Current showers are great, we never use those on site. Prefer a separate shower as there's no fuss about having to wipe down the toilet etc every time you have a shower. Go for one with plenty of space - just in case you drop the soap!
