is there a legal requirement to have caravan insurance before taking to the road, are you committing an offence if you are involved in an accident without it, or does your car insurance cover the caravan as well ?

I've noticed a lot of parks have a minimum 4 night rule for bank holidays, which I can understand, but 7 nights is plain crazy. I hope their bookings drop as a result so that they will review this policy.

Anyone making a booking with the CC should be asked for a credit card number and then charged for the first night if they don't turn up or cancel. It works for the big hotel chains.
