Which large 4x4 would you recommend?

Read the thread its says" Any signs of off roading" Resale values are related to the demand for the car and if discounts were applied at the beginning of its life,a well cared for car is only worth a couple of hundred pounds more, but dealers are more likely to take a cared for car as its easier...

    Kia Sorento

If you are talking about the 2.2 diesel that is fitted into the present cars you will find it is a pretty powerful engine kicking out around 194 bhp which is more than the XC90 and Disco 2.7 diesel engines. The 85% rule was written years ago and is only a guide, there has been talk of changing...

Transporting bikes on a VW Phaeton

Go for the roof mounted option, seen people on site having to unload the bikes first on a boot mounted carrier before they can do anything else, not much fun when raining etc.

    Kia Sorento

Actually the Santa Fe and the new Sorento are built on the same chassis with the same 2.2 diesel engine so are nearly identical in weight around the 1950-2000kgs which is more than capable of towing the heavier twin axles

Which large 4x4 would you recommend?

Its down to choice what you want to do with your car, just because its a 4x4 doesnt mean you have to take it off road, funny though any signs of off roading in your 4x4 and your used value will plumment that includes the likes of RR and Disco's.

They are all safety devices to help even the most careful who may get caught out once in a while, if others choose to rely on them then they will assist so as not to cause injury to others.

Electrical Hook Up Splitter - Loss of Power?

As long as you use the same connectors and cable i cant see it being an insurance issue? You will never overload the bollard as it will trip,i have connected 2 25mt cables together before as the post was over 25 mts away so cant see much of a difference connection wise

Electrical Hook Up Splitter - Loss of Power?

Surely if your using approved connectors then it shouldnt be an issue, whichever way you look at it with 1 or 2 cables the breaker will still trip at the rated ampage be it 10 or 16. Ok for summer with no heating

Electrical Hook Up Splitter - Loss of Power?

Hi have used one in the past due to only one outlet on the bollard. How can you overload protect the splitter?its basically a male plug that splits to 2 female plugs, they are made up using the same rated cable as long as the cable/cables are rated higher than the breaker then will just the...

Which large 4x4 would you recommend?

Grip on grass is related to tyres and the run flats arent great as they are road biased, but as already said i didnt get a 4x4 to go off road. Many people tow with RR,Disco's,Sports, Ml's,XC90's and Touregs so im afraid alot of people arent putting their feet up in the Bahamas and are...
