Carrying Kayaks on a Coachbuilt Motorhome

Would not advise a motor home for carrying kayaks on the roof, my reason is that although most motor home roofs are built to withstand walking on, this only means occasional, not every time the van is used. I had a customer who had kayaks and was up on his roof every day either checking the...

    Best time to trade-up?

I come across many owners who are selling their motorhomes and caravans and I am always surprised how many upgrade to a newer model of what they already own. Some have changed their minds after I have finished rejuvinating their van, others have received the best price for their trade in as its...

    Side skirt oxidisation

Oxidation should not make your panels bubble, you may have a more serious problem

    Side skirt oxidisation

Try using Silky(available from most dealers and Go outdoors), it may work and at about six quid a tub is probably cheaper than new skirts.

    Black streaks

Will agree with gjh that getting rid of black streaks can be hard work if they have been there a while and also agree with his point about keeping the van clean especially the roof. What I think is poor advise is the using of any waterless system DO NOT USE A WATERLESS WASH SYSTEM ON YOUR...

I did read somewhere that Fiat are pulling out of the Sevel agreement in a few years time and possibly going in a joint venture with Dodge. That should make things interesting

    Satelite dome mounting

Hi Brum, when I fitted my Sat dome I just glued the feet on using a silicone mastic (Sikaflex). This was the method recommended by the dome manufacturer (Camos), When you want to move the dish onto your next van you unbolt the feet which are under the dome cover and leave them glued to the van...
