Brake on one wheel is locked on

The wheel can be rotated backwards, so the auto reverse function IS clearly working!

    Our European trip

Roger, There are TWO sides of opinion re this matter re mileage and driving time and each are equally valid. Personally my main concern would be the time spent "on the road driving" rather than actually enjoying the various areas you will, by reason of the itinerary and distances involved in the...

Certainly do, its Shackletons Grave. I have a pen made from some of the wood salvaged from part of the fence that was replaced around the graveyard a few years ago. Very treasured possession for very obvious reasons. Shackleton was a brilliant leader, but the Capt of his ship, a chap called...

For remote dependencies try looking on Google Earth for South Georgia, now that's what I call remote My daughter is the CEO of the authority of it. She is based in Stanley in the Falklands but she has to physically go there 3 or 4 times a year. Its 800 miles by sea with no other means of...

    ATC led problem

If that doesn't do it, connect up to your car and leave it connected for 12 hours, that clears the ATC's fault memory apparently.

That's a huge mileage in a brief period! You will spend most of your time on the road rather than enjoying your holiday. It works out at 215 miles each and EVERY day! At an average of 45/50mph (and thats not easy to achieve) thats roughly 5 hours driving every day, which, if its a holiday rather...

    Alko stabilising pads noise.

The pads have a habit of glazing over, so a bit of not so fine every might help. I have a set of new, unused Alko hitch pads that I have no further use for, so open to offers!!

Use a scissor jack or similar to support the tow hitch!

    Motor movers and the law?

I have never even considered it, and certainly cannot think of any circumstance where it might be an issue! Hire companies deliver and collect mini excavators, mini dumper trucks etc all the time, and no one has ever questioned the legality of them being moved from a site onto a trailer and...

    Silly question time

Which is the point I have been making! Caravan fridges don't need to be powered whilst being towed, yours, and my, first hand experience proves that, yet still others dismiss our views as being totally wrong and utterly misinformed because they differ from their opinions, those...

    More scam

The very first think I look at if I get any half sus email is the address it came from. Some are very bizarre but more importantly are clearly not from the company the poster claims to be!

    Silly question time

I just load my fridge with cold stuff! Never bother switching to 12v, never had a problem, even when taking the ferry to Spain so I do seriously wonder why some folk spend all that money to address a problem that basically doesn't exist. Each to his own of course.
