No 240v and RCD not tripping

Or try someone else's lead. It could just be something simple as a terminal on one of the lead ends has come loose.

No 240v and RCD not tripping

Clearly something amiss with the hook up lead woukd be my thoughts as there's no 230v at tge caravan.

    Lidl multi cooker

Wouldn't be without our Remoska. It gets far more use in the house than the MH. Exceedingly versatile and uses very little power (only 400w) so keeps the bills right down compared to a 3kw oven

Newbie Renovating Advice please - Silverline Pegasus 1989

With a caravan thats 36 years old the VERY FIRST thing you need to do is to ascertain just how much damp, and therefore rot, is present. It's a bit like an iceberg, you can only see a very small part of it, so you will need to strip the inside out until you get back to solid structure. It may...

    Further downturns in the industry

From someone who enforced the drink driving laws I can say that it is in no way that simple. First up the offence is being in charge, which is a very long way from actually driving. Below is from the CPS website. In relation to being in charge of a motor vehicle, a person is not guilty if...

    Further downturns in the industry

Such statements as this, in an article in the Mail on Sunday about caravans (static and touring) certainly don't help either. "It is illegal to sleep overnight in lay-bys in Britain, and it can land you with a £200 police fine" As a Traffic Cop for 30 years I for one never heard of such a...

Has anyone fitted a TV bracket inside a Bailey D4-2 caravan?

You will probably have to stand it on the worktop rather than fix it to the wall (which as you say isn't strong enough) It might be worth contacting Bailey to ask if there is a strengthening plate built into the wall designed to take a TV bracket as thats what is done to facilitate cupboards...

    Thetford cassette toilet.

Sounds like the flush switch is sticking to me. I woukd be inclined to take it out and have a "fiddle" with it.

    Important changes to the forum

If other forums are NOT doing the same as this one it begs the question who is correct here?, Is this forum over-reacting to a perceived issue, rather than an actual one? Is this forums "Legal Advice" flawed in some way? I dont know, I am just asking. If the legislation is so clear why is this...

    Buying a Tourer

First, and vital, thing you need to know is what the maximum weight of caravan your tow car can legally tow. Look at the VIN plate, deduct the second bigest number from the bigest number.

A frame bike rack on Bailey unicorn 2016 (or there abouts)caravan

Found it! Its available from a good few outlets, including I think Amazon, I haven't searched much as currently on a cruise ship and the connection is slow. But do a Google search and you should find a few suppliers. View: https://youtu.be/L0uvc2WBN3c?feature=shared

A frame bike rack on Bailey unicorn 2016 (or there abouts)caravan

There is a roof mounted rack that slides out and down so you load alongside the car then slide the whole caboodle up and across the roof. The bikes lie flat not upright. That would probably suit your needs. I will try and find a link.

    Hose

Never understood why people are happy to pay daft sums of money for bottled water. The stuff coming out of domestic taps is 100% safe so why pay extra? Have those bottled water people ever stopped to work out how much money they are spending (wasting?) on the stuff per year? As for water when...

Seating Bed Make up plan diagram

There is no right or wrong way. Just turn them all over so you have a flat surface on the top, and shuffle them around until they all fit together without any joints being in awkward places. So long as it works for you thats all that matters. The main seat base cushions provide the main area...

    MTPLM - crikey

The trailer it's built on will more than likely have a plate defining its maximum weight. Not too happy with that Calor cylinder just sitting there, doesn't seem to be secured in any way. For the information of any newbies there CAN BE (and very often is) a difference between a caravans MTPLM...
