Thanks yes by "Terrestial" I mean the regular channels broadcast by mast in the UK. I wasnt clear whether the USB's on the TV's are for Dongle input or recording output, I didnt see this anywhere?

And you can still see UK terrestial programmes in the Dordogne? Free standing dish is not an option for me unfortunately. The Avtex with Freeview does not have a record option, however it does have a 7 day catch up, so Avtex has to be without Freeview to have the record and DVD option.
