    Caravan Warranties

We’ve been around this civil v criminal law wrt CRA 2015 not long ago circa June 2024 and the answer hasn't changed. One example amongst others. https://forums.practicalcaravan.com/threads/best-time-to-buy-general-advice.67676/page-4#post-604876

    Hello

Welcome to the Forum. Sounds as if you are getting some good experiences with the vintage Hobby. How did you manage 13 trips to France in one year?

    Fridge fans again.

Wouldn’t be expensive to have a caravan engineer (AWS/MCEA) or local dealership fit something you supply.

    Fridge fans again.

Behind the fridge where the external vents are. Some fit them near the lower vent in order to move the warm air up and introduce cooler air. I fitted mine behind the upper external vent to help remove the warm air such that cooler air enters via the lower vent. But not too certain if either...

    Fridge fans again.

Helps fridge performance in hot weather by aiding the ventilation across the rear of the fridge. I used them firstly for trips to south France with temperatures regularly above 30 deg C.

    Amateur or Professional tugger ?

Some of my cars could easily tow uphill above any posted speed limit even on the long slopes of the Causse. So I’d think the advice was relevant to the days when cars were noticeably less capable. Like when my father was fuming over queues on the A361 when heading south on holiday only to find...

    Fridge fans again.

I would turn our fridge fans off at night for the same reason, but my wife was oblivious to it.

    The dreaded Swift crack.

Even with emojis condescension is still condescension. The debate even goes back as far as 2012 when like a pantomime or Punch and Judy show “ yes there is, no there’s not” came from the members of one Forum.

    The dreaded Swift crack.

If the above photo is to be believed it’s not so small to be noticeable. After all it’s there to see every time the window handle is used. Where is the transfer fitted? Window maker or caravan maker?

    Caravan Warranties

That’s one very disillusioned owner, with good reasons too. But blaming himself for not doing pre purchase research is unfair on him. Sources for caravans are far less than for cars. But had he done more research I think he might not have purchased any UK make. Interesting that he cites the...

Electrics in Avondale 515/4 golden Mayfair

If you have iPhone as you select photo from Library there’s an option to reduce size. I go from Original to Large. Once selected you can carry on with Upload. As you go into photo library press options at the bottom left and this screen pops up.. Select your size and then press Done.

    The dreaded Swift crack.

I think that I would have noticed such a warning given its location and dimensions, and I can confidently say there wasn’t one on the front or other window. Nor were there any on my previous 2005 Bailey either. From the graphic it looks like a pleated blind. Mine were roller.

    Carbana car wash

Carbana isn’t a traditional car wash, I stopped using hand car washes as although our local ones no longer use a couple of sponges to soap down the whole car they now use snow foam. But they clamber on wheel arches or door cills to reach across the roof or stretch across the bonnet, when drying...
