Hi Tim, In responce to your point on fitting for the BP gas bottles if your Bailey is fairly new should not be problem as the base fixing will take the new bottle and the support strap that goes round the bottles are quite long enough . I had no problem with fitting on my Bailey Ser 5. Regards...

Hi Kim. I owned a 54 plate mondeo estate , they are known to be a little soft on rear suspension but lifting suspension should not be reqd as long as what other people has said in this topic is followed ie 75kg on a mondi towball .I improved mine by fitting Grayson rubber suspension aids...

Does anybody tow with a Mondeo 2.2tdci 5d Titanium X ,if so what tow bar have you got fitted. Been to local Witter fitter and current bar is only available for models up to Titanium, X model bumper is aparantly a differant shape, bar is still in development stage for X model Genuine Ford...

Dave I have towed with a Ford mondeo Estate for the last 3 years with no problems at all. Does 40+ to the gall solo and about 32 to the gall towing its a 2 ltr 130bhp diesal model . I assume the new 2008 model would be even better . Regards pcv dave.

Hi David I tow with a 2 ltr 130bhp Mondeo Estate diesal 2004model,It towes with ease my caravan fully loaded about 1400kg . Road tax is &145 this year , Solo driving local is up to 40mpg Motorway work it will do 50 to 55mpg (sticking to speed limit] towing it averages 32mpg a bit more on long...
