many thanks for all the advice, there will be no specialist cleaners involved, I'll try the white vinegar idea and the Fenwicks if that doesn't work but it'll be a bit of a drive to buy as the local shop closed recently. Thanks for the comment Hutch, I've been in the background.

I recently took over a nice caravan in beautiful condition, clean dry and no signs of damp. Regrettably the awning isn't in as good state, there is a lot of mould on the roof section and side stitching, but otherwise still usable. Is there a mould remover I can buy to clean it up, rather...

Fortunately the power leads are long enough to slide it out of the compartment and onto the ground, just caught me out as I didn't expect that sort of weight.

I've had to put my caravan into storage for now; when it was on the drive it was plugged into the mains to maintain the battery at optimum condition. So I went up today to remove the battery and store it in the garage on a smart charger. O.M.G. I had no idea of the weigh of the thing, nearly...

We did this a few years ago, they make such a difference and are easy to store, wife made a carrier bag to put them in.

I totally agree with you Beehpee, although from the reaction I received in my original post I got the feeling I was looked on as a tight wad, which actually isn't the case but of course people do tend to go off at the deep end well before they know anything about a person.

I've just had an E mail from the C&CC saying that present memberships will be extended to cover the period of closures, which actually goes FAR beyond my previous remark I made about getting a reduced rate at next renewal date. Well Done C&CC.

Whilst I fully understand and agree with the closures, are the clubs going to offer us a reduced rate at membership renewal time.

I've just been reading an article on waterless washing, and one comment made was that there is no Carnauba wax in it as several manufacturers advise against it. I thought this wax was a good product but difficult to apply, have I been mislead.
