Hi Bri, Never been to the site ( only live 6miles away)but the site is approx 100mts away from Dee coastal path. mainly sandy beach... close to Wirral Country Park and walks...about 1 mile drive from Thurstaton Hills and Nature trails . All dog friendly.

Hi Paul, Keep away from the Ambleside route ..very tight, steep and twisting. Newby Bridge a lot easier access. Went there 3years ago. well screened pitches. mostly under high trees...noisy when it rains otherwise OK. Good walks in area . Coniston accessible along the lake, plenty of good eating...

Hi, I am thinking of uprating the rear springs on my 2000 Mercedes E320 cdi.I wondered if this option is possible and will the upgrade stop the car looking "back-end" down when i have my van attached. Also would the harder springs make the car too firm when not towing?

Hi sharon, Went there last July. I would recommend the site.Fully serviced pitches all together around new ammenities block which is first rate.Owners/wardens all very helpful and friendly.Site well laid out with clear access. Farm shop well stocked. Access to site a bit tight (single track...
