    Awning fridge?

I don't normally correct typos, but in this case the typos could have given the op the wrong steer on the type of fridge.

    Awning fridge?

A couple of typos? "Adsorption" should be Absorption - which describes the process used by the fridge. The "condenser" is a physical part of the refrigeration circuit. Its a heat exchanger that gets rid of heat from the refrigerant fluid usually on he outside back of the fridge, causing...

    Awning fridge?

The box you have shown (and there are several similar products from other manufacturers use the Absorption process to cool the box. This is the same technology a the fridge you probably already have in your caravan. Its near silent, and can use LPG, 12Vdc or 230Vac power to operate. They...

    Light squeak on braking

One could use the same argument about the car MOT! It is not theoretical becasue there have been many instances where trailers (inc. Caravans) have had faulty or inefficient brakes and have contributed to the cause or the effect of a motoring incident. Is it so silly to consider the...

Purpleline Hitch Drive caravan mover (manual )

You may not of thought about this, but probably the most important thing you need a caravan mover to do is to stop and hold a caravan on a slope. That depends on the movers ability to grip the surface on which its operating. The maximum grip an a frame mover can achieve is dependant...

    Light squeak on braking

When a Safety Critical system such as brakes are causing a concern, who in their right mind would tell the questioner to ignore it? If that isn't contemptuous I don't know what is. And again I will state that I suggested and have maintained the OP should seek professional advice from my...

    Light squeak on braking

That is exactly the message I posted at #4 and have reiterated throughout this thread, yet I was shouted down and post like some of your own strongly suggest ignoring the issue which is the disservice to both the OP and the integrity of those who suggests such an irresponsible attitude.

    MAD Springs Insurance issues

Totally agree, and its important to know that the tow ball nose load has to be accounted as part of the cars total loading . You cant load a car to its limit and then hitch up trailer as that will likely exceed the cars rear load limits.

    Light squeak on braking

We have no way of knowing what the source of the OP's noise is, so I cannot believe that a potential issue with a primary safety system on a vehicle is being treated with such contempt by some contributors. We know from post both here and in other threads that both the...

    MAD Springs Insurance issues

What you may not appreciate, is that many modern cars have stability control systems which monitor ride height or suspension compliance. By fitting any sort of spring assistors you will modify the the motion of the suspension and will compromise the ride height sensors, which...

    Light squeak on braking

The last two posts just show there can be other causes for squeaks and groans which do have potentially serious consequences. Any concerns raised about braking systems should never be casually dismissed. The system should be checked properly and any and all inadequacies corrected. How...

    Towing question please help

Its a case of the regulations being derived before motorhomes began to exceed 3500Kg. Blame the motorhome manufacturers for making them too heavy!

    Light squeak on braking

You are of course welcome to do that, but in reality you NEED to have the concern assessed by some one who can listen , touch and check the parts based on what they can see and hear.
