    1984 Topaz Eccles WINDOWS

I think the window will be a difficult one to find. It will probably be the same as other models in the range and possibly a few years either side so check the sizes accurately. Different years might have a colour difference though. SFM are probably the biggest. You can get windows made but...

    Bubble has burst?

It is the system hat is wrong. The extra cost of one person is near nominal, you need a higher pitch price and a lower addition for each person to get it right but the industry does not think that way.

“Combined” Weighbridge weight correct or wrong?

Given the weighbridge operator would not have known the MTPLM of the caravan the reading should be correct although subject to any error in the weighbridge. Given this the answer to taking more with you would seem to be load it in the car as you do have some leeway there.

    Are pitch prices going crazy

My view is the pricing structure is wrong. Quite simply the pitch is the main cost to the operator and should cover the fixed costs of the rent or ownership, staff, heating and lighting of common parts, waste disposal and a few other things. The extra cost of more people is nominal, a bit more...

    Unicorn van?

Not sure it exists. I cannot think of a Unicorn with a curtained off rear bedroom. that is not a fixed bed. To be honest I cannot think of anything other than some older other models that had a lounge at the back which would double up as a bed. These normally have a curtain alongside the bed...

    One liners, Humour

How can you tell you"re getting old? When you go to an antique auction and three people bid on you. In my case it is to go to the Transport Museum and see half the cars I have had.

    Wood blocks for leveling caravan

We have the plastic feet which are the simplest way to deal with any sinking but thick wooden blocks can be useful if you are on a sloping pitch. Not sure where ours came from they are years old but they were scrap wood rather than bought as new.

    Swift Elegance & others……Onboard water tank…

Possibly Swift believe that if you can afford the Elite you can afford a serviced pitch which would solve your problem. I would not travel with the tank full as 40 l weighs 40 kg and would be a big hole in your load allowance. Having it partly full could affect stability if it is sloshing...

    Caravan TV

If you are on a hook up then any TV that fits will work. Both here and Europe you will be on 240 volt so 12 volt ability is not a problem. There are areas where you might struggle due to poor reception, but that is down to the limitations of the aerial system.

Swift Challenger 2013 Damp around Window, Whats best to do?

This can often be a problem proving a fault existed from the start. In this case if the wrong sealant was used then the case should be simple enough.

    Prepaid Cards Foreign Travel

Barclaycard offer a card that provides both normal credit card facilities and no charges for use abroad. I think Halifax also offer this so a another card would not be needed as I read the details. .

    Caravan cover insurance renewal

Motorhome insurance normally combines the normal car type cover with the caravan risks. There is no need for two policies.
